ASU Leadership Academy
Arizona State University launched an updated version of brand guidelines and I was given the task to adhere the Leadership Academy portion to their updated design. The Leadership Academy provides a year-long series of trainings to ASU faculty and staff who are emerging as leaders in university activities. The new site design needed to showcase the content of the site and give users a clear scope of what the Leadership Academy was all about.
Goals & Design
Our main goal was to create a design layout that adhered to the new brand standards but also gave a fresh experience to the user to easily find what they needed. This started with simplifying the navigation bar into simple sections, cleaning up unnecessary information and changing the type application. I also added in new icons to direct the eye to key points of information on each page, simplified the descriptive text, and implemented more visually impactful imagery that will keep users engaged with the content.
